Inseenoi Sharkyboxing gym had to go to the 7th round in a gruelling, action-packed Champion four-man tournament on Saturday the 15th of June, beating Fahprajak Sathienmuaythai in the final, after a deciding extra round. Both semi-final fights pushed the boxers hard, in particular, Fahprajak's where he faced a ferocious onslaught from his opponent Petch Sitmonchai in the opening round, getting dropped for an 8 count by an elbow halfway through the round. Fahprajak came back hard though in the second round and managed to drop Pech with a barrage of hard knees halfway through a frantic round of action. Petch beat the count, but Fahprajak didn't waste any time and jumped straight on top of him, sending him down for the count.
Inseenoi had the easier of the semi-final fights but was still pushed hard by Sueayai Misakawan. The fight was even for the first two rounds, but Sueayai faded in the final round to let Inseenoi through to the final.
Fahprajak's lead leg was punished in his semi-final fight against Petch and Inseenoi looked to attack it straight away in the opening round of the final. Fahprajak weathered the storm though and came on strong with some solid kicks and knees in the second round, closing down Inseenoi before he could get off with more low kicks. Round three saw the momentum swing back and forth as both dug deep trying to get the win. They both looked exhausted by the end of the third and there was a despondent look on the face of Fahprajak when the draw was announced. Inseenoi pushed forward in the last round and had the more energy left, as Fahprajak faded badly, getting dropped for an 8 count by a barrage of hard knees. Inseenoi looked like he could have finished him off, but showed a little mercy and took a clear win at the finish.
