On Tuesday night, Kriangkrai Sor. Kantasee returned to the Max Muay Thai ring for the second time at the Max Muay Thai Fighter show. The 36-year-old fighter-turned-trainer took on the formidable Chokplangrit Sor. Tianchai. It was to be a step up in competition from Kriangkrai's last fight, which he won by elbow knockout within two minutes.
Chokplangrit is a monster in the clinch, usually. But Kriangkrai was able to keep the fight on the outside and punish the body of Chokplangrit with punches and kicks. From the start of the fight to the very end--just two minutes, again--Kriangkrai looked dominant.
By the end of the fight he had Chokplangrit curled up in a ball in the corner of the ring, and the referee had to step in to stop the fight.
Kriangkrai might've been out of the ring for a while, but there's no doubt he belongs at the top of the heap here at Max. We'd love to see Kriangkrai against the very best in a four-man Saturday night showdown.
